【According to the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines】: Recently, several Chinese citizens who intended to travel to the Philippines through the visa-free route were blocked from entering the country after arriving by plane because they did not meet the Philippine policy. It is understood that the parties concerned had applied for single-entry round-trip visas to Japan in China and came directly to the Philippines for tourism after their trip to Japan. However, upon arrival in the Philippines, they were denied entry because their single-entry visas to Japan had expired and did not meet the Philippines' visa-free conditions, resulting in them being stranded at the airport.

According to the relevant regulations of the Philippines, visa-free entry for Chinese tourists is limited to those holding ordinary Chinese passports and valid visas for Australia, the United States, Canada, Japan and Schengen. In view of this, the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines reminds Chinese citizens planning to come to the Philippines: Please fully understand the Philippine visa and entry policies in advance. Those who plan to come to the Philippines visa-free must confirm in advance whether they meet all relevant conditions, and leave the Philippines before the end of the visa-free stay period. Do not rely on luck. In case of emergency, please contact:
